Police taking down the details of the drivers during the operation.Traffic police were nailing down hard on errant drivers as 50 speeding cases were reported yesterday morning alone in an operation conducted along the Tutong-Jerudong highway.
As of February 22, the police have recorded 467 accidents throughout the country this year.
The operation was one of the latest in an series of operations conducted in recent days. Another operation targeting errant drivers who violated road traffic rules and regulations was also conducted yesterday morning in the Jln Kumbang Pasang-Jln Tapak Kuda area. The operation was led by Sergeant Major Samsuddin.
More operations will be conducted in the coming days. Apart from speeding tickets, two compounds and six docket cases for road traffic offences were also recorded yesterday.
