A man believed to be drunk smashed his four-wheel vehicle into the back of a saloon car along Jalan Tutong and tried to escape but was caught later on the highway in Tungku Link as his vehicle suffered a flat tyre (photo above).
The incident happened when the man in his four-wheel drive vehicle allegedly tailed a saloon car and then smashed into the car. According to eyewitnesses, the man escaped from the scene where a brave member of the public gave a chase. However, he suffered a flat tyre and the person who chased him informed the police, who apprehended the offender.
