A MAN, who was involved in an accident in Kuala Belait yesterday, was
thankful that he had fastened his safety belt, believing this was the
reason he escaped unscathed.
The victim was driving along Jalan Maulana and heading for a grocery
store at 5pm when he lost control of his vehicle and landed in a ditch
next to the road.
The vehicle was partially submerged in water.
“If I wasn’t wearing the safety belt, I’m sure it would have been a very different outcome.”
