The front of both cars suffered damage from the impact of the collision.
A lamp post fallen due to the accident.
Two cars, a saloon vehicle driven by a 39-year-old Indonesian male and a compact SUV driven by a
Chinese male foreign national, collided during rainy Sunday night on a double-lane road of Jalan Agis-Agis
KM34, Sungai Liang.
Sungai Liang Police Station receiving a call at 10.10pm had rushed to the scene as well as Sungai Liang
Fire and Rescue personel.
The Indonesian man had been travelling home from Tutong to Kuala Belait when the accident happened.
He sustained wounds to legs, left arm and chin.
Meanwhile, the Chinese man who suffered injuries to his forehead, head and both arms was travelling with
two passengers, a 33-year-old Chinese female and a three-year-old Indonesian boy.
The female passenger sustained a bruise on her forehead while the child had a cut on his right leg.
All of them were dispatched to the Suri Seri Begawan Hospital for treatment after the incident.
A lamp post and a signboard along the road were also damaged after the collision.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
The police urged road users to drive safely especially during rainy weather and to obey traffic rules and
regulations.
