A woman was involved in a car mishap yesterday morning at the vicinity of the Muara-Tutong Highway when she veered off the road onto the grass in an attempt to avoid colliding with the car in front. The car in front had suddenly stopped due to a puncture in one of its tyres. The woman who is employed at a security firm based in Kuala Belait was fortunately not injured and neither was the other driver. Police officers at the scene assisted in easing the flow of traffic and once again reminded members of the public to be more careful while on the road, especially on mornings as there has been a prevalence of hazy conditions of late.
