Cheaking a bus
The Land Transport Department focussed on saloon and commercial vehicles at the Kuala Lurah area, near the border in a back-to-back operation in two days.

Eleven compounds were issued. Actions were taken against eight cars for driving with tinted glasses.

Other offences included bald tyres and faulty body parts.

The operation, aimed to alert drivers in following road traffic rules and regulations and to make them understand their responsibilities.

It started at 10.30am and involved 12 enforcement personnel led by Awg Kamaludin bin Hj Mat Sum.
