LTD officer questions a truck driver during the operationMore commercial vehicle drivers were issued compound fines for road traffic violations in a roadblock conducted by the Land Transport Department along the Tutong Highway near Telisai and Kg Serambangun, the third such operation in as many days.
A total of 23 compound fines were issued for offences such as driving with bald tyres and failure to produce valid roadworthiness certificates to drive commercial vehicles.
The operation which ran from 9.30am till 11.30am, involved 75 personnel and was led by Kamaluddin bin Hj Mohd Sum.
