The illegally modified vehicles were not allowed to be driven on the roads and should have been ferried to the show's venue by a tow truck.

Acting Superintendent Mohd Hadini bin Hj Othman, the Head of Traffic Enforcement Division from Traffic Investigation and Control Department, said, "Based on the public complaints, our officers took action and brought the illegally modified vehicles back to the police station.

"The action taken was to safeguard motorists as well as pedestrians near the stadium. The cars will be sent to the Land Transport Department for inspection.

"Under the Road Traffic Act, Chapter 68 of Section 26, anyone found to have illegally modified vehicles for road use can face a fine up to $200 for the first offence and a $500 fine for the subsequent offence.

Acting Superintendent Mohd Hadini urged the public to comply with the rules and regulations of the Road Traffic Act as the police will not hesitate to take action against offenders in order to safeguard the public.
