Illegally modified vehicles were the main target during the roadblock.

The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) yesterday conducted two major roadblocks in the early morning rush hour targeting lawbreakers.

A total of 35 RBPF officers led by Assistant Superintendent Gina See were deployed along busy parts of Jalan Gadong and the Tungku Link Highway where they managed to stop 20 cars with the help of 15 officers from the Land Transport Department.

The cars were found sporting illegal modifications such as customised licence plates and after-market sport rims.

Some also were stopped for having expired driving licences and road tax.
