A firefighter cleans up spilled oil and debris from the accident site.A man sustained injuries following an early morning car accident at the Jerudong Highway in front of Bukit Shahbandar Recreational Park.
The self-caused accident, which occurred around 8am saw the vehicle crash into the road barrier before coming to a stop.
A team of firefighters led by Superintendent Hj Mohammad rushed to the scene with two fire engines from Jerudong. The firefighters extricated the man from the mangled car and cleaned up spilled oil and debris on the road.
Also at the scene were RIPAS Hospital paramedics and traffic police, who helped control the flow of traffic.
The accident resulted in traffic congestion both at the Jerudong Beach flyover and along the highway near the Jerudong petrol station.
