~ NeGaRaKu BRuNei DaRuSSaLaM ~
* The golden yellow outline symbolises Brunei being a country ruled by the Sultan entrusted to administer the country through sources blessed by Allah S.W.T.The triangular outline symbolises efforts towards achieving and supporting the call for Zikir Nation, in line with the nation’s Malay Islamic Monarchy (MIB) philosophy.
* The green and blue crescent moon represents Islam and brings with it the understanding of safety, prosperity and peace. It is also a representation of the patriotic spirit of Brunei’s community who will continue to practise and strengthen it from time to time.
* The emblem symbolises the identity of the country that should be exalted and supported with patriotism.Branching from the emblem is a black stalk creatively designed to support the emblem in representation of tolerance and being neighbourly within the community and the world. The end of the stalk is formed into Arabic number 27, signifying the 27th National Day celebrations, 2011.
* Meanwhile enclosed in the crescent is “Negaraku Brunei Darussalam” written in Jawi, representing the pride of Bruneians who constantly embrace the culture in maintaining the originality and beauty of the country’s culture based on Malay Islamic Monarchy (MIB). The Romans characters which spell “Negaraku Brunei Darussalam” is connected to the crescent to show that Brunei is an Islamic country.It also represents unity in upholding the sanctity of the religion, peace, sovereignty of the monarchy system and glory of the race.
