A surprise roadblock held at Tutong town caught numerous traffic offenders during the mid-morning operation yesterday. Police Personnel from the Tutong Police district led by Sergeant Masri Bin Tamit, conducted the road block with the aim to prevent crime. The roadblock commenced from 9am until 11am. It was also held to ensure that road users strictly comply with the traffic regulations whilst increasing awareness on road safety. Among the traffic violations were driving without a road tax, tyres in bad condition and illegal plate numbers.
