A midday collision between two cars at a road widening project site in Kampong Pengkalan Mau yesterday may have been caused by poor signage done by contractors, according to Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF).

RBPF reminded motorists to be careful at road construction sites, especially in Kampong Pengkalan Mau and to abide by the road signs.
In an interview with the Weekend Bulletin, one of the drivers involved in the accident claimed that she didn't realise a car was overtaking her as she was turning into a junction to buy 'Nasi Katok'.

The collision caused the front wheels of both cars to smash into each other side by side.

The actual cause of the collision is still under investigation. Both drivers escaped serious injuries during the collision.
